  • YES! Please always arrive prepared for your service with your hair STYLED curly and with the product (gel, styling cream, etc) in your hair STYLED curly.

    With the product, it looks completely different when there is no product—preforming a curly cut dry means cutting the hair how the client typically wears it, WITH PRODUCT.

    Arrive with detangled hair. Detangled means there is no knotting or tangles in the hair. Knotted-up hair will require an additional detangling fee of $75+

  • The age requirement to receive a service at CRWN'd salon is 13 years old.

    A service for your child is scheduled as " The Curl Cut" for New Clients and "Maintenance Cut" for Existing Clients.

  • As a curl expert, my top priority is your hair's health. I see color services, like highlights, as optional and not for everyone. To protect your curls, all new color clients must have a Virtual Color Consultation. This step helps us discuss your goals and assess your curls' condition.

    It's important to remember that hair can show signs of previous damage from neglect, heat, or chemicals, and it needs time to recover before getting any chemical treatments. Completing a color consultation doesn't guarantee that we can schedule a color service at CRWN'd. This ensures I provide the best results while keeping your hair healthy.

  • If you have any movement in the hair strand, whether it is an extremely loose curl or an extremely tight zig-zag low-definition curl. A Curly Cut is for you. You will immediately notice the difference in how your hair sits on your body and moves throughout your life. It will be less bulky around the most common areas like the neck and jawline, which creates the horrid "Triangle Shape." Only with a Curly Cut will you be able to achieve the shapes that you often see on TV and social media that you have been longing for, whether you are looking for big round hair, "heart-shaped," or just a classic shape that gives you balanced, body and bounces from top to bottom.

    ​If you are uncertain about wearing your hair curly full time or at least more than 80% of the time, I would caution against getting a curly cut. Yes, I can cut in a way that transfers seamlessly to straight, but the purpose of embracing your curls is also to have healthier hair. Someone who constantly straightens their hair will never see the FULL potential of their curls. Heat styling drys out the naturally dehydrated curl, causing damage and weak hair strands that easily break off.

  • In the hair industry, I personally think the best form of "tipping" is leaving a positive review and telling fellow curl friends.

  • Booking at a CRWN’d salon is completed differently than at a typical salon. Appointments are made available monthly. If you do not see an appointment for the current month, you can add your information to the waitlist. You will be alerted in the event of a cancellation.

  • A 5% salon service charge will be automatically applied to all services rendered in the salon. Unlike tips, this mandatory fee is not subject to the customer's discretion, is NOT a tip, and does NOT go to the stylist.
